Glock 43X & 48
Magazines & Mag Release
The Glock 43X and 48 ship with 10-round mags, and the upgrade most owners reach for is a flush 15-rounder: Glock’s own steel OEM mag or the Shield Arms S15. Five more rounds, same carry profile. The problem is the part holding it in. Your factory release was never built for a steel Glock 43X magazine.
The X-Catch FX fixes that. It’s an all-steel, extended mag release machined to run Glock OEM 15s, Shield Arms S15s and factory 10s in the same pistol. Install it once and run every mag you own.

More Capacity, Same Slim Carry
Ten rounds beats the original G43, but it’s still short of what a grip this size can handle. Depending on how you carry, the right upgrade might be an extended mag for long range days, a spare for your pocket, or an extension that adds rounds to mags you already own. Every Glock 43X magazine option on this page runs in both pistols.
- More rounds between reloads, on the range or on your belt
- Extra grip length on extended mags for a full hand and better control
- One set of mags for both the 43X and 48
- Lifetime warranty on every XTech product
- Made in the USA
Fit and Compatibility
The 43X and 48 use the same slimline mag, so any Glock 48 magazine on this page runs in your 43X and vice versa. None of it fits the original single-stack G43; for that pistol, see our Glock 43 extended magazines.
Running 15-round steel mags like the Glock OEM or Shield Arms S15? Factory polymer releases wear against steel and don’t always drop the wider 15s free. Our X-Catch FX steel mag release is built to run them all.
