Why the LDR2000?

In 2023, we identified the need for a simple, affordable magazine loader that pushes rounds both downward and rearward. After dozens of refined design iterations, we reduced a multi-part concept down to a single, optimized component while improving ergonomics at every step.

Many OEM pistol loaders are poorly designed and treated as disposable. While established options like the Maglula UpLULA exist, their higher price point and complex construction leave room for improvement. We believe true innovation is found in simplicity.

The only tradeoff compared to universal loaders is fitment. In every other respect, the LDR2000 is on par with or better than competing designs at less than half the cost. It is 100 percent made in the USA, utility patent pending, and built for long-term use.

The factory magazine baseplates have a slick sidewall which lead to a challenge with indexing for insertion and rapid extraction. Our side scallops solve both of these issues.

The dot matrix on the bottom of the baseplate also allows you to use a drop of paint or a silver sharpie to easily identify your magazines.
